I'm assistant professor of Medical Informatics at Amsterdam UMC, working on automatically integrating medical data with background knowledge.
Before, I was a postdoc at the Knowledge in AI research group at the Vrije Universiteit (VU) in Amsterdam. I did my PhD at in the Database Architectures group in the Center for Mathematics & Informatics and the VU, working on Open Data Integration. I did my Masters at the AI program at the University of Amsterdam and my bachelors in Utrecht.
I'm from Delft (1990), and I enjoy playing music, making stuff and learning things.
